Freight train of the American transport company Norfolk Southern derailed in Ohio, reports NBC Chicago.

As the press secretary of the company told journalists, about 20 wagons of a train consisting of 212 wagons derailed. No one was hurt, and there were no leaks of harmful substances.

Firefighters and police are on the scene. The county’s emergency management agency asked citizens living within a radius of about 305 meters from the scene of the incident to stay at home as a precaution.

Recall that in February, the Norfolk Southern train had already derailed in Ohio. Then several wagons overturned, a fire started. At the same time, 20 of the 50 derailed cars contained hazardous chemicals, including vinyl chloride (derived from ethylene, explosive and releases toxic substances when burned). In a nearby village announced the evacuation of residents. There were no reports of casualties or deaths.
