The US Department of Commerce imposes export restrictions on 37 entities, including a Russian firm, a Belarusian one and almost 30 Chinese ones. The corresponding document is published on the US Federal Register website.

In general, the black list consists of 37 companies. In addition to the Russian DMT Electronics and the Belarusian DMT Trading LLC, three more are based in Myanmar, four in Pakistan, and the rest in China.

One of the Chinese firms, Neotec Semiconductor, is based in Taiwan. The Ministry of Industry and Trade suspects it, as well as Russian and Belarusian companies, of providing for the Russian military-industrial complex. Chinese firms, in turn, were suspected of working for the Chinese military-industrial complex.

As explained in the department, the restrictions were introduced due to the fact that these companies “may take part in activities that are contrary to the interests of US national security.”

Recall, earlier it was reported that the United States imposed sanctions against six legal entities and 20 tankers for the transportation and sale of Iranian oil, bypassing American restrictive measures.
