The Legislative Assembly of St. Petersburg in the first reading by a majority vote approved a bill on the publication of declarations on property, income and expenses of deputies in a generalized form and without personal data.
Thus, deputies Vsevolod Belikov and Denis Chetyrbok propose to bring the city law in line with the changed federal norms.
It should be reminded that on March 1 amendments to the law “On General Principles of Organization of Public Power” came into force. Information about the income of State Duma deputies and senators of the Federation Council, as well as deputies of the legislative bodies of the subjects will be published without personal data. Only generalized statistical information will be distributed on the Web.
Deputies and senators submit information about their own incomes and property and about the property and income of family members through special commissions of the relevant chamber of parliament, where they check the completeness and reliability of the information provided and compliance with restrictions and prohibitions.
