A court in Tula suspended the activities of the Doner King public catering organization for 30 days, where, after eating shawarma, five people were found to be infected with an intestinal infection caused by Staphylococcus aureus. “Given the nature of the offenses that pose a threat to people’s health, the court decided to suspend the activities of the Doner King public catering organization for a period of 30 days. <…> The department of bailiffs of the Privokzalny district of the city of Tula executed the court decision on the administrative suspension of the activities of the public catering organization, ”the message says.
The press service noted that an individual entrepreneur is obliged to eliminate the identified violations within the specified period.
The press service of the Rospotrebnadzor for the Tula region reported on February 27 that epidemiologists had identified five cases of intestinal infection, including two teenagers who ate shawarma at the Doner King catering organization in Tula, the victims were hospitalized. The causative agent of the disease was Staphylococcus aureus, the presence of which was determined in all samples taken. In a public catering enterprise, the circulation of raw meat and food products without labeling was suspended.
