The Smolninsky District Court of St. Petersburg chose a measure of restraint in the form of detention against a teenager accused of hooliganism due to participation in a fight in the Galeria shopping center.
According to the United Press Service of the city courts, on Sunday afternoon, several people, including the accused young man, beat a young man in the Galeria shopping center.
On the eve of the teenager was arrested and on the same day he was charged.
The court granted the petition of the investigation, sending the teenager under arrest until April 25.
Earlier, the press service of the Main Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for St. Petersburg reported that one of the alleged initiators of the fight in the Gallery shopping center was detained, he turned out to be a 17-year-old first-year student of the city college. According to media reports, the teenager provoked a fight with a 15-year-old schoolboy because of the PMC Redan paraphernalia on the victim’s clothes.
Recall that on Sunday, after a mass brawl, the police the day before detained about 200 teenagers aged 13 to 19 years. Presumably, some of the detainees belong to the PMC Redan fan group, a subculture based on the Hunter X Hunter anime. Teenagers walk around in plaid pants and clothes with a picture of a spider and the number “4”. The abbreviation PMC stands for “Private Military Company”. According to teenagers, they took this name as a joke.
