The Russian Defense Ministry reported that Ukrainian drones tried to attack targets in Adygeya and the Krasnodar Territory at night, but they were suppressed by electronic warfare units. It is reported by RBC.
“Both drones lost control and deviated from their flight path. One UAV fell in the field, another UAV, deviating from the trajectory, did not harm the attacked civilian infrastructure object,” the report says.
The Ministry of Defense does not specify which objects were the targets of the attack.
On the night of February 28, explosions and a fire occurred at the oil depot in Tuapse in the Krasnodar Territory. The city authorities assured that there was no reason to panic, the oil tanks remained intact. The fire spread over an area of 200 sq. m, it was extinguished by 32 people. A RIA Novosti source said that a drone was spotted near the base at night. The base is located on Industrialnaya Street, it also houses the Kubannefteprodukt facility, a subsidiary of Rosneft.
The Adyghe authorities spoke about the fall at night of an “unidentified aircraft” in the village of Novy. “The most important thing is that there are no victims and injured. There is a slight destruction of the outbuildings of the livestock farm,” said the head of the region, Murat Kumpilov.
