In the St. Petersburg art space mArs on March 7, on the eve of International Women’s Day, the St. Petersburg ensemble PinAkkolada Duo, which combines the exquisite sound of the violin with the versatility of the accordion timbres, will present an updated spring program, which will include works by Edvard Grieg, Leonid Desyatnikov, Gia Kancheli, as well as ethnic melodies of northern Europe in the duet’s own arrangements. The start is at 19:00.
The brightness of the sound and the unique repertoire, experiments with genres, styles and countries, the combination of classics, folklore and favorite melodies are the hallmarks of the ensemble, which invariably evokes a lively response from the public.
PinAkkolada Duo is an ensemble consisting of Ekaterina Vinogradova (bayan) and Alexandra Menshova (violin). The special guests of the evening are Polina Rukavishnikova (piano) and Stepan Morozov (double bass).
