Pancake week continues, and cynologists told what kind of pancakes it is dangerous to feed a dog. According to KTV-LUCH, according to them, sweet pancakes can become a real poison for an animal.

Chocolate and its derivatives are considered poisonous to pets. Chocolate paste, white, milk and dark chocolate, condensed milk, caramel, jam – all these fillings should be excluded if the owner wants to give pancake to the dog.

“Please ignore your pet’s pitiful look when you eat your sweet pancake. Chocolate and its derivatives contain theobromine, which is poisonous to dogs. The harm it does to the stomach and other organs is irreversible. A dog may develop pancreatitis or even hepatitis after consuming it, ”the Russian Cynological Federation notes.

Experts categorically do not recommend treating a dog with pancakes with nuts, whipped cream or richly greased butter. As for pancakes without filling, it’s nothing critical if the owner treats the pet with one small pancake, but you shouldn’t overdo it. Excessive amounts can cause problems with the digestive system. The composition should not contain unnecessary products, except for milk, eggs, flour. You can add carrots, pumpkin or an apple to such a pancake.

It is noted that for a dog there is nothing better than a well-designed diet and healthy treats made by oneself from affordable and suitable products for a pet.
