The Chinese car brand VGV will go on sale at Maximum car dealerships in St. Petersburg in the third quarter of 2023. This is reported by RBC Petersburg, referring to the information of the auto holding. According to these data, the distributor plans to import 2,000 vehicles to Russia by the end of the year.
Novel Distribution LLC has signed an exclusive distribution contract with the Chinese brand VGV, the press service of Maximum reported. Sales will be launched not only in St. Petersburg, but also in Moscow and several other million-plus cities in Russia. In 2024, the distributor plans to sell 6,000 vehicles, and in five years to reach sales volumes of 50,000 vehicles.
At the beginning, two models of D class SUVs will be available: U70 Pro and U75 Plus. Starting from October 1, pickup class cars will be on sale – frame, with all-wheel drive, diesel engine. And from January 1, 2024, E-class SUV models will appear – diesel, monocoque, all-wheel drive. Later, in February 2024, the LCV class will appear: minibuses and cargo. The SUV C class will appear in early 2025.
The auto holding noted that in addition to the cars themselves, the company received exclusive rights to sell and import VGV auto components to Russia.
