The issuance of health records between March 2020 and January 2021 are part of an investigation opened by the Unit for Transparency and Fight against Corruption of the Prosecutor’s Office.
Given this, this Friday the 12th the Prosecutor’s Office detailed that the Arcsa facilities in Guayaquil were intervened in order to collect evidence related to the case.
In the open investigation, a new case of alleged embezzlement is presumed, the Prosecutor’s Office indicated on social networks.

Last Thursday, the Prosecutor’s Office reported on other raids in Guayaquil, Daule and Samborondón for an investigation of alleged embezzlement in the purchase of medical supplies in public hospitals during the health crisis.
