The contour of the Progress MS-21 cargo spacecraft, which is due to complete its flight as part of the ISS on February 18, has been depressurized. This is reported by TASS with reference to the press service of Roscosmos.

“The contour of the transport cargo ship Progress MS-21, which is scheduled to be sunk on February 18, has been depressurized, confirmed the telemetry data received by the MCC,” the press service said.

As specified in the state corporation, now the passage hatch of the ship is closed, “Progress MS-21” is isolated from the total volume of the ISS. “The reasons for its depressurization are being investigated,” they added.

“This incident did not affect today’s docking with the ISS of the transport cargo spacecraft Progress MS-22. It will also not affect the further program of manned flights, ”the state corporation noted.

It is noted that the well-being of the crew of the station also remains good, nothing threatens their life and health.

The Progress MS-21 truck was launched from Baikonur on a Soyuz-2.1a launch vehicle on October 26. Two days later, it docked with the Poisk small research module of the Russian segment of the ISS. The spacecraft delivered more than 2,500 kg of cargo to the ISS.
