Weather forecast for this Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 February 2023issued by the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (Inamhi). The agency recalls that the alert is active about possible heavy rains with storms on the coast and the Amazon.
On the coast, moderate and heavy rains are expected in much of the region with electrical storms to the north and interior of the region. The most intense will be presented in the provinces of Esmeraldas, Manabí, Santo Domingo, Los Ríos and Guayas.
In the mountains, rainfall of moderate intensity will occur in the south of the region, while in the east moderate rainfall is expected with an emphasis on the north of the region and the foothills of the mountain range, and gusts of wind. (YO)
