An approximately 25-year-old man was shot to death outside the ECU911 local center in Esmeraldas.
The violent death happened around 1:30 p.m. this Thursday, in a lane on Avenida del Pacífico. The victim was riding a motorcycle with license plates, which was left on the ground after he was shot several times.
The victim tried to take refuge inside the ECU911, but died face down and in the middle of blood stains, outside this institution.
Trike driver was shot while traveling with a passenger in Pascuales
A white shoe was left in one of the entrance stands. According to witnesses, two subjects who were traveling on a motorcycle would be responsible for this homicide, who fled in the same vehicle after committing the crime.
Juan Garzón, police chief of Dinased, said that four ballistic evidence of 9 mm caliber were found at the scene of the crime. Also, a motorcycle license plate and no identification of the deceased. The body was transferred in the bucket of a police van to the Esmeraldas forensic center.
This is the fourth violent death so far this week in the province of Esmeraldas. The previous three with injuries occurred in the cities of Esmeraldas and Quinindé.
