According to the Prosecutor’s Office, the victim, a 13-year-old adolescent, became pregnant as a result of the sexual assaults of her stepfather on at least two occasions. The last one was on April 10, 2022.
The death threats from her stepfather made the young woman keep silent and she even told him that she was going to shoot him with a firearm if anyone found out what was happening.
An aunt of the girl witnessed the moment when Guido Fausto Sh. was committing the crime and called the Police to arrest the assailant in flagrante delicto.

The Prosecutor’s Office prosecuted the citizen and brought him to trial. At this procedural stage, the prosecutor in the case presented testimonial, expert and documentary evidence with which it was verified that her stepfather raped the young woman, taking advantage of the fact that they were alone in the property that he shared with her.
In the victim’s anticipated testimony, which was reproduced at the trial hearing, she narrated that the defendant raped her twice. This was also corroborated with the report issued by the legal doctor, who confirmed the seven months of gestation.
The set of tests was complemented with the psychological expertise performed on the adolescent, as well as the social environment and the recognition report of the scene of the events.

The court also sanctioned the defendant with a fine of 1,000 unified basic salaries ($450,000) and with the payment of $8,000 to the victim.
