Ecuadorians will have four days off in a row due to the holiday of Carnival this February, a time that they can take advantage of to go sightseeing, meet with family or friends, or relax from the workday.
This long weekend will be from Saturday 18 to Tuesday 21 Februarysince Monday and Tuesday are holidays that are added to the weekend. According to the law of holidays in Ecuador, these days are mandatory and non-recoverable.
At the end of December, the Ministry of Tourism announced the list of holidays that Ecuador will have between the years 2023 and 2025.
The Municipal Public Tourism Company of Guayaquil has already presented an agenda of recreational activities for the days of Carnival, which citizens who do not travel to other provinces can enjoy. The election of the Carnival Queen and several parades stand out.
