The death toll in Turkey as a result of earthquakes has risen to 6,234 people, more than 37,000 have been injured, according to the country’s Emergency Management Department.
According to the Anadolu agency, search and rescue operations continue in the affected provinces. Turkish Air Force planes deliver injured citizens to Ankara and Istanbul, writes Milliyet. Although more than two days have passed since the earthquake of magnitude 7.7, rescuers continue to find survivors.
