If the cat scratches or spoils things, most likely, she is offended by the owner for something. But aggression is far from the only sign that the pet is dissatisfied with something, the Belnovosti portal writes.

According to experts, the reaction of a cat to insult is always individual and largely depends on the breed and age. Siamese, British, Abyssinian and Bengal cats are considered the most touchy, and with age, the frequency and depth of insults in cats progresses. Kittens and young cats are offended much less often and forgive their owners faster than older ones.

In this case, any change in the behavior of the pet can be a sign of resentment. For example, a cat can defiantly avoid contact with the owner: dodge touches, escape from hands, or even hide in corners. However, resentment can also reach destructive behavior – damage to shoes, furniture or wallpaper.

However, experts emphasize that the animal’s interest in food should remain at the same level. If the cat refuses food for more than 12 hours, most likely, he is not offended, but sick and needs to be shown to the veterinarian.
