In the Kuban, a four-year-old child was stabbed during a family dinner

In the Krasnodar Territory, a criminal case was initiated after a four-year-old boy from Novokubansk received a stab wound to his chest during a family dinner. This is reported by TASS with reference to the investigative department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the region.

“In the evening, a boy was delivered from Novokubansk to the medical institution of Armavir with a non-penetrating stab-cut injury in the chest area. The Novokubansk Interdistrict Investigation Department of the TFR in the region immediately initiated a criminal case under paragraph “c” of Part 2 of Art. 115 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Intentional infliction of minor bodily harm with the help of an object used as a weapon”),” the message says, specifying that the ambulance brigade took the child injured during a family dinner to the hospital.

The injured boy, born in 2019, is growing up in a complete family with four children. She is registered with the commission on juvenile affairs and the protection of their rights under the administration of the Novokubansky district as unfavorable, the press service of the prosecutor’s office of the Krasnodar Territory specified. The department has begun an audit, based on the results of which it will evaluate the work of the prevention system. The progress of the investigation of the initiated criminal case was put under control by the prosecutor’s office.
