A subject tried to assassinate a man who was observing the repair of a vehicle outside a mechanical workshop located at 25 and García Goyena streets, in the Guayaquil suburb.
In images from video surveillance cameras in the area, it was observed that the aggressor appears in one of the corners and then approaches his target, aims at his head and after two attempts to shoot he does not succeed. That happened after 09:00 on Tuesday the 9th.
To the surprise of the citizen, the attacker who was wearing a mask and cap left the place on foot.
The man who was to be attacked remained immobile at the site and after several minutes tried to go after the armed subject, but he had already fled the scene, according to witnesses.
After several minutes, the client left the place.
