Slowly, the official results of the sectional elections have begun to appear on the applications of the National Electoral Council before midnight.
With 59.08% of tallied records, the Guayaquil Mayor’s Office would be won by Aquiles Álvarez (39.50%). In second place is the current mayor Cynthia Viteri (30.37%).

The Prefecture of Guayas is led by the candidacy of Marcela Aguiñaga (34.70%), followed by Susana González (25.59%), when 45.73% of the minutes have been scrutinized.
For the Mayor of Quito, Pabel Muñoz reached 25.10%, followed by Jorge Yunda with 22.38%, who already congratulated Muñoz.
In the case of the Prefecture of Pichincha, Paola Pabón appears in first place (27.89%). In second place is Guillermo Churuchumbi (25.55%).
In the Mayor of Cuenca there is a technical tie between Cristian Zamora Matute (18.75%) and Adriàn Castro (17%).
And in the Prefecture of Azuay Juan Cristóbal Lloret reaches 20.13%. In second place appears Marcelo Cabrera (19.62%).
In the candidacy for the Mayor’s Office of Manta, Agustín Intriago Quijano (61.34%) appears in first place. He is followed by Jaime Estrada Medranda (32.58%).
In the Prefecture of Manabí, Leonardo Orlando already won with 43.11%.
Wilson Erazo reached the first place to occupy the Mayor of Santo Domingo (60.96%).
Johana Núñez would be the new prefect of Santo Domingo de los Tsáchilas with 41.32% of the valid votes. In second place is Verónica Zurita (29.14%).
Alexis Matute would have been chosen mayor of Quevedo with 42.04% of the valid votes.
With 37.95% of the valid votes, Jonny Terán would be the prefect of Los Ríos. Eduardo Mendoza reached second place (32.65%).
Vicko Villacís would be the virtual mayor of Esmeraldas (29.58%). Frickson Erazo would be in second place (26.59%).
Roberta Zambrano would have been elected as prefect of Esmeraldas (55.37%). She is followed by Janeth Bustos (22.03%).
In the Machala Mayor’s Office, Darío Macas (40.92%) appears in first place. He is followed by Carlos Rodríguez (25.52%).
Clemente Bravo would have obtained the Prefecture of El Oro with 58.51% of the valid votes.
John Vinueza obtained 22.26% of the valid votes for the Mayor of Riobamba. Follow Doryan Jara (15.59%).
