Naked and in the middle of some African palm plantations, the body of Roberto Carlos Pazmiño Zapata, 24, was found.
Farmers from the El Mamey compound, in the Quinsaloma canton, alerted the Police.
The incident was reported this Sunday morning. The police arrived at the site, where, in addition to the victim’s body, they found his incinerated vehicle a few meters away.
Manuel Pazmiño, father of the deceased, informed the investigating agents that the last time he saw his son alive was at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Roberto left his house, located in El Paraíso, in the Quinsaloma canton; he did it aboard his car, a Chevrolet Corsa.
The young man did not return home to sleep. Worried, Manuel went to sleep until, this Sunday morning, he was informed about the death of his son.
The police report indicates that the deceased had nasal and oral secretions, although no signs of violence. (YO)
