“It is important to emphasize that private, fiscal and municipal educational institutions that are electoral precincts may avail themselves of this provision voluntarily,” it was indicated in a statement released tonight.

The administrative and management personnel must be in the educational institutions, since they will be visited by personnel from the National Electoral Council (CNE) and the Armed Forces for the development of the voting and subsequent scrutiny.

This Sunday the 5th, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., the elections for sectional authorities and popular consultation will take place in the country.

For the elections, the Armed Forces will have 32,450 troops who will be in charge of the custody, security and transport of the electoral material and safeguard the normal development of the process.

In turn, after the scrutiny, the military will accompany the CNE coordinators to the records digitization centers to send the results in each precinct of their jurisdiction.
