People who wanted to ride the subway trains on Friday, February 3 will not be able to do so. The Metro de Quito company reported that dynamic induction trips will not be carried out as of this day and a date is not specified for when they will be resumed.

In a brief statement and without going into details, the entity explained that “the measure will be maintained while the administrative process related to the insurance of municipal assets is developed.”
The company apologized to the public for the inconvenience and indicated that it will announce the schedules of the next trips.
Previously, the company reported that the subway service will remain closed during election day on Saturday 4, Sunday 5 and Monday 6 February.
To enter the Quito Metro it is important to follow these steps:
- Enable the Metro Q account on the Quito Metro website cuentametroq.metrodequito.gob.ec/login so that users can get their passes.
- Each person will have access to a maximum of 60 passes, two per day.
- On the website, users must choose the station from which they will make their trip and the time that suits them.
- The service hours at the stations will be from Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 10:00, and on weekends from 08:00 to 11:00.
- As of Tuesday, 14 stations will be enabled with the exception of MorĂ¡n Valverde, located in the south of the city.
