We Ecuadorians are called this Sunday, February 5, 2023, to elect 23 provincial prefects and vice-prefects, 221 mayors, 864 urban councilors, 443 rural councilors, 4,109 members of the parish councils and 7 principal and alternate councilors of the Council for Citizen Participation and Control Social (CPCCS). Also, pronounce ourselves with a yes or no to the 8 questions of the referendum proposed by President Guillermo Lasso.

The voting process will take place from 07:00 a.m. to 05:00 p.m., continental Ecuador time.
The voters of the urban areas will receive a total of seven ballots:
- Mayor (sky blue color)
- Prefect (orange color)
- urban councilors (green color)
- CPCCS with 17 candidates/women (Gray)
- CPCCS with 20 candidates/men (Gray)
- CPCCS of indigenous peoples and nationalities, Afro-Ecuadorians, Montubios and Ecuadorians abroad with eight applicants (gray color)
- Government referendum (White color)
