In Guayaquil, the waiting time is 216 days, while for Quito the estimated time is 135 days.
How to know how long appointments are taking to obtain the US visa
The Embassy of the United States in Ecuador indicated that people who need emergency appointments for nonimmigrant visas can request it if they meet several conditions:
- If you or a member of your immediate family have a serious medical condition that requires urgent travel to the United States for treatment; either,
- If you have a legitimate business need to travel to the United States; either,
- If you are applying for a visa category F, M, J, C1/D, E, H, L, O, P, R, U, or T
If you meet one of the requirements you will have to enter the platform and follow the instructions to expedite the appointment.
