Since January 1, 2023, the amount of insurance pensions for non-working pensioners has been indexed by 4.8%, but some categories of pensioners are yet to be recalculated.
Thus, insurance pensions for people who left their jobs no later than October 2022 will be indexed by 4.8% from February 1. The average increase will be about 1 thousand rubles.
According to life.ru, those who decide to stop working after August 1 will determine the amount of pension coefficients for the previous year, and the maximum increase can be up to three pension points. Also, the retired person is entitled to additional social payments: social supplement up to the regional subsistence level and compensations assigned depending on income: subsidies for housing and communal services, compensation for travel in transport, targeted social assistance, etc.
In addition, on behalf of the president, the government will consider the issue of indexing insurance pensions for working people with disabilities by April 15. As follows from the draft law submitted to the State Duma, it is proposed to exempt such pensioners from paying insurance premiums. If the law is adopted, it will be possible to index the pension for the disabled at the same time as the indexation for non-working pensioners. This does not require changes to other legislative norms.
From February 1, veterans of the Great Patriotic War, combatants, liquidators of the Chernobyl accident will receive an additional 15% bonus, and the payment to the Heroes of Labor will increase to 61.5 thousand rubles. The increase in payments will also affect the Heroes of the Soviet Union and Russia, as well as full cavaliers of the Order of Glory. Persons belonging to these categories will receive 83.5 thousand rubles. In February, the amount of payments to veterans of military operations, including participants in a special military operation, will be raised.
