“However, the problem will not be solved until the water quality in the Uglegorka River itself returns to normal. At the moment, the filter station is still unable to cope with cleaning. Rospotrebnadzor has already joined our problem, all the necessary samples have been taken, and the results of the tests are being prepared, ”the official said. about. Mayor of the Uglegorsk district Fyodor Filin.

He also asked “the environmental prosecutor’s office to get involved to establish the reasons for the increase in the turbidity of the water in the river and conduct a full-fledged legal examination so that this does not happen again.”

The city with a population of about 9 thousand people will be supplied with imported drinking water. The authorities promised consumers to recalculate their water supply in the amount of 100% for each day until the situation is completely stabilized.
