This Sunday, Ecuadorians will have to go to the polls in a day that will have to decide on several dignities and questions raised by the Government.
Due to the time it will take to scrutinize the ballots of mayors, prefects, councilors, parish councils, the Council of the Council for Citizen Participation and Social Control (CPCCS) and the Referendum, President Guillermo Lasso ordered that February 6 be declared a recoverable holiday .
Faced with this situation, several citizens had doubts about what would happen to the different procedures and appointments that were scheduled for that day. Several entities have already ruled on this.
The Civil Registry of Ecuador indicated that the shifts scheduled for February 6 will be maintained for ID, passport issuance and marriages. The death registration service will also be available.

The Ministry of Health, on the other hand, clarified that care in all health establishments nationwide will be normal.
“The attention will be carried out in the instituted schedules for each of the health centers, second level hospitals and specialized establishments. It will be attended according to the planned appointments and according to the established schedule ”, explained the State Portfolio in a statement.
Regarding license shifts, the National Transit Agency indicated that they will maintain attention at their usual hours from 08:00 to 16:45. (YO)
