The Ministry of Public Health (MSP) reported that the monday february 6the day after the sectional elections, care in all health establishments nationwide will be normal.

The announcement was made to clarify how the hospitals and health centers of the public network will operate due to the fact that the president Guillermo Lasso decreed to suspend the workday on February 6.

“The attention will be carried out in the instituted schedules for each of the health centers, second level hospitals and specialized establishments. It will be attended according to the planned appointments and according to the established schedule, ”explained the Ministry of Health in a statement.

That day 5,697 authorities will be elected of the mayors, prefectures, urban councils, rural councils, members of parish councils; the seven members of the Council for Citizen Participation and Social Control (CPCCS) and will vote for the referendum of eight questions to amend the Constitution.
