A new multiple murder was registered in the province of Guayas during the early hours of this Sunday, January 29.

It was 01:00 when four men on motorcycles arrived at a pool hall in the Milagro canton and opened fire on those present.

After killing them, the hitmen entered the premises where a shootout broke out that left three more dead and one person wounded by a bullet, who was first taken to the León Becerra (Milagro) hospital and then was transferred to a Guayaquil health home due to gravity. of his wounds.

The deceased were identified as Digno Navas Contreras, 48 ​​years old; Luis Benavídez Caicedo, 39 years old; Marlon Benites Mendoza, 30 years old; Darío Muñoz Espinoza, 34 years old; and, Marjorie Brito Tapia, 37 years old.

Police arrived at the scene and closed the scene. The agents carried out the removal of the corpses and collected 25 signs of 223 mm and 9 mm calibers.
