Several vests and suits similar to those of the National Police were found inside a house in Manta, where three people (two Venezuelans and one Ecuadorian) were detained.
Patricio Almendariz, commander of Police Zone 4, indicated that an urgent act was carried out to find these people, because they had information that there were weapons in that house.
And indeed, weapons and ammunition were found, a tactical battering ram (which they use to break down doors in operations), as well as three sound suppressors and bulletproof clothing and clothing similar to that worn by the National Police, something that surprised the uniformed officers.

In a third operation carried out in the La Revancha citadel, south of Manta, three people were arrested: Marcos DV, with a history of robbery; Never AL, whom the Police recognized for being involved in a kidnapping case and was detained for drugs.
The third detainee, Alexis MP, alias Kangarooit was learned that he had recently been arrested for attempted murder, but after a few days he was released. (YO)
