A resident of the Altai Territory was detained for deliberately setting fire to a house where three people died. This is reported by TASS with reference to the investigative department of the Russian Investigative Committee for the Altai Territory.
“In Rubtsovsk, a fire broke out in one of the private residential buildings, during the extinguishing of which the bodies of three people were found: a 36-year-old mistress of the house, her 64-year-old mother and their 34-year-old acquaintance. On suspicion of committing a particularly serious crime, a previously convicted 34-year-old cohabitant of the hostess of the house was detained, ”the message says.
A criminal case was opened on the grounds of a crime under Part 2 of Art. 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “The murder of two or more persons, committed in a generally dangerous way.” The investigator of the UK is preparing a petition to the court to place the suspect in custody.
According to the preliminary version of the investigation, after a quarrel, the man doused the veranda with a flammable liquid, set it on fire and fled the scene. The woman, having discovered a fire, managed to take her two children outside, after which she unsuccessfully tried to put out the fire and save the people in the room.
