In Primorsky Krai, a child died in an accident on the 13th km of the Razdolnoye-Khasan highway, two more children and their parents were hospitalized. This was reported by TASS with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Primorsky Territory.
“As a result of a car accident, injuries incompatible with life were received by a 5-year-old passenger of a Honda Odyssey. The child was in a child restraint behind the driver. Four participants in the accident were hospitalized: the driver of the Honda Odyssey, his wife and their children (girls aged 10 and 13),” the report says.
As the police established, the driver of the Honda Odyssey was moving from the village of Slavyanka in the direction of Razdolnoye. According to preliminary information, while overtaking, the man was not convinced of the safety of the maneuver and collided with a Subaru Forester. Due to a sharp impact, the Honda car was thrown into the oncoming lane, where it collided with an Isuzu truck. After that, Honda crashed into a railing.
The police are investigating the fatal accident. The circumstances of the incident and the severity of the harm caused to the health of the participants in the accident are established.
