The security forces revealed the theft of funds when concluding state contracts for the manufacture of an integral part of a tactical missile in the Rostov region. As stated in the message of the department, the FSB officers, together with the military prosecutor’s office, revealed a new episode of criminal activity of the general director of Zvezda-Strela JSC, the head of the 222nd military representative office of the Russian Ministry of Defense and the director of TPK Gorizont LLC – Taganrog Foundry Plant LLC, associated with the theft of funds from the state defense order.
According to operational data, when concluding state contracts for the manufacture of an integral part of a tactical missile, the suspects entered inaccurate data on the cost of the product into the calculation materials in order to steal this money in the future. The damage exceeded 63 million rubles. A criminal case has been initiated under the article “Fraud”.
According to the FSB, at present, three suspects are charged with damages in the amount of 80 million rubles for all episodes of criminal activity. The first similar case under the same article was reported at the end of November 2022.
