124 houses have already been restored. In the villages of Zhuravlevka and Nekhoteevka of the Belgorod region, restoration work has been suspended for security reasons.

Contractors have already begun repairs in the village of Solokhi, where, according to preliminary estimates, 54 houses were damaged.

According to local authorities, 85 vehicles were also damaged by shelling, including agricultural machinery, cars and trucks.

Recall that on February 21, 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed decrees recognizing the independence of the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics (DPR and LPR), and on February 24 he made an emergency appeal to the Russians and announced a special military operation in Donbass. He, in particular, stated that “circumstances require decisive action from Russia”, and stressed that “Russia will not allow the appearance of nuclear weapons in Ukraine.” The goals of the special operation were called “demilitarization and denazification” of Ukraine.

In response to Russia’s actions, Western countries (USA, Canada, European Union, Great Britain, Japan) announced new, tougher sanctions against the Russian Federation, including those of a financial and economic nature, as well as against officials and businessmen.
