This will be the registration process for siblings and transfer of students in the Costa-Galapagos regime for the 2023-2024 cycle

Classes at the Costa campuses are reaching their final weeks. Private schools have begun to finish classes with high school students and those of other cycles will do so in the following weeks of February.

While the fiscal establishments will reach the end of the 2022-2023 school year on February 22.

The second quarter of this school year began on September 26, 2022 and according to the schedule it will end on February 22, 2023. That is, when the 101 working days considered for this second quarter have ended.

At the gates of the holidays, the stage is also beginning to be prepared for the new school year 2023-2024. The Ministry of Education has already begun to disclose some dates for the processes in this new school year.

Parents will have an exclusive process for family grouping in the enrollment and transfer of students in fiscal educational institutions and thus facilitate the unification of siblings of the Costa-Galapagos 2023-2024 regime.

According to the Ministry of Education, the transfer of siblings for students enrolled in fiscal institutions will be from March 6 to 11, 2023, and the enrollment of siblings for students entering fiscal educational institutions for the first time will be from March 14 to 19.

From March 22 to 30, the first phase of student transfers between fiscal educational institutions will be carried out, and from April 17 to 19, a second phase will be carried out.

This process, added that ministry, will be exclusive for students who are enrolled in fiscal units.

While from April 3 to 14, ordinary registrations for fiscal institutions will take place.

This process will be aimed at students who request a place and enter the fiscal educational units for the first time.

Private initiative will give occupational courses to ‘rescue’ young people from Guayaquil, Durán and Samborondón

The procedure can be done at juntos.educacion.gob.ec, which, according to that State portfolio, allows choosing the educational institution according to the availability of educational offer and the reference location.

There will also be telephone operators to provide citizen attention.

During these last weeks of January and the month of February, the fiscal educational institutions will carry out various activities to close the learning process in the different parallels. Teachers will carry out activities such as evaluation exams, exhibitions of work done by students throughout the school year, playful games to socialize and share knowledge with all teachers and students.

For the closure, it is also expected that there will be mingas in schools so that the educational community contributes to the care of the educational institution.(YO)
