According to the police report, the robbery occurred in a house on Guaytambos and Frutillas streets, in Ficoa.
At around 03:30 on Monday 8, through ECU911, members of the National Police received the alert from that sector of the city of Ambate. Given this, they moved to the place in order to verify the novelty.
At the site they spoke with one of the members of the affected family. According to the testimony of the citizen, four individuals, apparently foreigners, used firearms to intimidate and later tie him and his relatives.
The subjects took the citizen to where the safe was to be taken inside: jewelry and money. The amount of the stolen is approximately $ 400,000.
