In two sites that offer parcel service, the seizures were made.

Two packages contaminated with drugs were detected in companies that offer services to send packages abroad, in Portoviejo. Both seizures were registered last Sunday in two companies located in the capital of Manabi.
In the first intervention, 330 grams of cocaine were seized inside ovens that are used to roast bananas.
The second seizure occurred at another parcel shipping agency, where it was detected that another shipment had tagua figures in the shape of turtles, the drug inside said crafts, a total of 604 grams of cocaine hydrochloride.
Police did not reveal which countries the camouflaged alkaloid in both packages would be shipped to. There were no detainees in these cases.
The evidence was placed in the chain of custody of the competent authorities. (I)
