In a statement, the Zonal Coordination 4 of the Ministry of Education pointed out that in the Educational Unit of the City of Pedernales it is presumed that there would be infections in some of the students and before that, classes were suspended this Monday until they are verified or discarded. suspicions.

“We are working with the Ministry of Health in the epidemiological fence to verify possible cases,” says the letter from the Zonal Coordination 4 of the Ministry of Education.

While at the Víctor Manuel Peñaherrera School, in the Veche de Pedernales community, an authority from that campus notified with a test that it tested positive for COVID-19.

After that, classes were also suspended, in this case for fifteen days.
