The bodies of three men were found while extinguishing a fire in a residential building located in the village of Brusovo, Udomelsky urban district, Tver region. According to TASS with reference to the regional investigation department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, a criminal case has been initiated.
“On the night of January 23, the investigative department of the regional Investigative Committee of Russia received a message about the discovery of the bodies of three men while extinguishing a fire. On the fact of their death, a criminal case was initiated on the grounds of a crime under Part 3 of Art. 109 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Causing death by negligence to two or more persons”),” the report says.
According to the press service of the regional head office of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, information about the fire was received by the operational duty shift on Sunday evening. At 02:46 Moscow time on January 23, firefighters announced the complete elimination of the fire. The regional investigation department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation appointed the necessary examinations to establish the cause of the fire and the death of three men. “Experienced employees of the forensic department left for the scene,” the regional investigative department added.
