The judge, he indicated, provides that during the remaining sentence time he cannot leave the country and appears once a month at the Riobamba Prosecutor’s Office.

Ruiz was sentenced to 34 years and 8 months in prison by a Riobamba court, a sentence that was ratified by the Criminal Chamber of the Provincial Court and in cassation the sentence was reduced to 24 years.
