Uncertainty invaded officials of the National Transit Agency (ANT) in Loja this Friday morning, when they arrived at work.
Minutes before 08:00, as usual, some began to arrive in their vehicles, which enter the parking lot of the institution.

In a few minutes, personnel from the Special Operations Group (GOE), the Fire Department and Traffic Agents arrived.
The offices were evicted and the surrounding streets closed. GOE personnel confirmed minutes later that they were explosives inside the boxes, and a tour began to sweep in search of more similar items.
There have been no calls or threats, according to officials from the institution, so the fact seemed strange to them.

The institution in a statement reported that service to the public is suspended this Friday, January 20, due to a security sweep by members of the National Police. Work will resume next Monday.
Until noon this Friday, officials remained in the vicinity of the institution and it was reported that the arrival of personnel from the Guayaquil Intervention and Rescue Group was expected to proceed with the review of the explosive elements found and their possible deactivation. (YO)
