Police personnel were activated in various operations this Sunday afternoon when three attacks with firearms were reported in Mucho Lote 1, Trinitaria, in the north and south of Guayaquil, and in Durán.
At this last point, uniformed officers reported a person dead after a hitman-style attack when the victim was driving a white vehicle. The event occurred in the fifth stage of El Recreo, in Durán.
There residents were alarmed when they saw the wounded man inside the vehicle, along with him was a woman who cried helplessly before this attack. The attackers fled. Uniformed men cordoned off the area, cleared the people who came to observe the incident, then proceeded to the respective procedures.
After this event, the alert of an attempted assassination was issued in the sector of Mucho Lote 1, in front of the Popular Bastion. There, residents called ECU911 already in uniform because subjects fired at a blue vehicle that was being driven by a man along with some children.

Witnesses to the event indicated that the man was injured along with one of the minors. They were transferred to health homes for their respective medical evaluation. At that point, citizens questioned that the life of minors is not respected. While trying to avoid the attackers, the vehicle crashed into one of the posts and structures surrounding the scene of the event.
Meanwhile, in the south of Guayaquil, in the Trinipuerto sector, antisocials shot several people. Residents indicated that one of them died and that the others were taken to nearby hospitals. Police personnel went to the site to learn the details of this new attack in the south of the city.
