A French brand expands in Ecuador and invests more than $100,000

An investment of $150,000 was made by Naf Naf, the brand of French and Colombian origin that opened for the first time in Guayaquil this month.

The fashion brand, which is inspired by women, opened in the Riocentro Los Ceibos shopping center, as part of its nationwide expansion plan.

With this store there are eight nationwide, which are also distributed in Quito, Ambato and Cuenca. Waldir Jaramillo, general manager of Naf Naf, mentioned that with this opening five direct jobs were activated; nationally there are 28.

“Ecuador is a very important market for the brand, which is why we have an expansion plan with our stores. We will continue to reach different regions to be closer to our clients,” Jaramillo said.

In recent years, the clothing chain has also expanded its coverage in the region. For example, in Colombia they have 70 stores, as well as 3 in Guatemala.

Since 1973, Naf Naf, when it opened its first store in the Cairo passage, in Paris, became known for its garment: the jumpsuit.
