Activists found on the banks of the Yenisei near Krasnoyarsk a dump of toilet bowls, fittings and other construction debris on an area of more than 800 square meters. m. According to RIA Novosti, this was announced by the head of Rosprirodnadzor Svetlana Radionova.
According to her, the activists reported that the bank of the Yenisei in the village of Esaulovo near Krasnoyarsk was polluted with construction waste. At the same time, the local administration explained the dump of broken toilet bowls, drywall, tiles and fittings with plans to “strengthen the coast before its improvement.”
Radionova noted that in response to the activists’ demand to take out the garbage from the shore, the authorities decided to simply level it and cover it with sand. At the same time, excavators uprooted the trees planted on the shore. Radionova added that Rosprirodnadzor specialists are working at the site, the information about pollution has been confirmed. The total area of the site was about 820 square meters. m. To determine the volume and hazard class of waste, specialists from TsLATI will be involved, and the owner of the land plot will also be established.
