The National Police announced the start of the recruitment process that plans to incorporate 5,000 uniformed.
The process will begin at 00:00 this Friday, January 13, and will end next Wednesday, January 18, at 11:59 p.m.
In a first phase, 2023, 5,000 police officers will be incorporated: 400 at the managerial level (60 women, 340 men) and 4,600 at the operational level (3,227 men); 600 will be of peoples and nationalities. Registration is done in this link.
management level
The first group that must register is those who aspire to the management level, here there will be 4,700 registration spaces available (4,000 for men and 700 for women). In total, 400 applicants (340 men and 60 women) will be selected.
Registration for this group will be on January 13 from 00:00 to 23:59. The Police clarified that the registry will be closed once the registration quota is reached.
Requirements for applicants at the management level:
- Being Ecuadorian.
- Be between 18 and 22 years, 11 months and 30 days from the date of registration.
- Minimum height in men of 1.68 meters and for women of 1.57 meters, barefoot.
- Have a bachelor’s degree or an approved foreign degree, if applicable.
- Not have been discharged, dismissed, separated, dismissed from the Armed Forces, National Police or any of the entities regulated by the Organic Code of Citizen Security and Public Order Entities for any circumstance except for voluntary request.
- Not having been discharged, dismissed, separated, dismissed from schools or training centers of the Armed Forces, Police or any of the entities regulated by the Organic Code of Citizen Security and Public Order Entities, with the exception of voluntary request or overwhelming force.
- Not having received an enforceable conviction for any crime.
- Do not register pending judicial processes of a criminal nature.
- Have a minimum score of 800 points in the Senescyt.
- Not owe two or more alimony.
- Approve each of the phases of the recruitment and selection process.
- Not be immersed in disabilities contemplated in article 34 of the Organic Code of Citizen Security Entities and Public Order, in which the recruitment process is applicable.
- Not be affiliated with any political party.
operational technical level
The registration process will be from Saturday 14 to Wednesday 18 January, according to the last digit of your identity card, this also involves indigenous peoples and nationalities, in which there will be 600 places. The Police indicated that for the others, 3,227 registered places for men will be available.
The schedule is as follows:
Digits ending in 1 and 2: Saturday, January 14.
Digits ending in 3 and 4: Sunday, January 15.
Digits ending in 5 and 6: Monday, January 16.
Digits ending in 7 and 8: Tuesday, January 17.
Digits ending in 9 and 0: Wednesday, January 18.
