The National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (Inamhi) issued a rain and thunderstorm alert valid until January 13.
For the coastal region, high intensity rains and storms with moderate gusts of wind are expected in several provinces.
In the Inter-Andean region, rainfall of variable intensity is expected with occasional storms, especially in the northern and central provinces. While in the Amazon region, more intense rains are expected that can occur from January 11, with emphasis on the north of the region and the foothills of the mountain range.
The entity anticipated that low ultraviolet radiation rates are expected in much of the country.
Regarding the temperature this Wednesday, on the coast they will oscillate between 22 °C and 31 °C, in the Sierra they will be between 7 °C and 22 °C. In the Amazon, it will be between 18 °C and 29 °C.
The Insular region will have temperatures between 19 °C to 28 °C.
With regard to ultraviolet radiation, it is expected that it will be between 4 and 9.(YO)
