A four-month-old boy died on Tuesday night after the vehicle in which he was traveling got involved in a traffic accident that occurred near the San Carlos citadel, on the road to San Mateo, south of Manta.
The minor who died as a result of this traffic accident was identified as Keyler Loor. After the incident, the child’s mother took him to a clinic, where his death was confirmed a few minutes later.
The mother outside the clinic regretted what happened to her son and had to be restrained by acquaintances.

Members of the Manta Municipal Transit Agency (ATM) proceeded to detain two people for investigations.
Alexander Cedeño, agent of the Manta ATM, indicated that upon arriving at the scene of the accident they learned that two injured people had been taken to hospitals.

“So far we have two people apprehended, who are allegedly indicated to be the drivers,” Cedeño said.
The causes of the incident were being investigated, and it was presumed that one of the vehicles had invaded the lane of the other vehicle. (YO)
