A man was killed and his two-year-old son seriously injured after they were fired upon while riding a motorcycle.
The event happened around 10:00 p.m. this Monday on the streets of 4 de Agosto and Juan Montalvo, in the center of the Pasaje canton.
As Cristopher Andrés Matailo Suárez, 30, the victim of the hitman-style attack was identified.
Matailo’s attackers were also on a motorcycle and fired the shots that killed the man, while the victim’s son was left on the ground and was later helped by people who took him to the IESS hospital in Machala.
