Showman Garik Martirosyan will not replace Ivan Urgant on Channel One. This was stated by the host of the Evening Urgant show in an interview with Gazeta.Ru.

He denies rumors that the Evening Urgant show may be closed, and instead another program will be launched on Channel One, hosted by Martirosyan. “Do not believe the rumors,” said Urgant, finding it difficult to name the date for the release of new episodes of his show. The star admits that he himself is waiting for this. “I, too, believe me, I’m really looking forward to this,” said the TV presenter.

In turn, Martirosyan called the rumors about his new job on Channel One fake, RIA Novosti reports.

Earlier it became known that Urgant left Russia, but promised to return. It is assumed that he is in Israel. “No panic. They let me go on vacation, but I’ll take it and be back soon, ”he wrote.

Meanwhile, earlier the media reported that a new show with Martirosyan could be released in early autumn. The comedian himself has already allegedly reacted to rumors about the creation of a program with his participation and allegedly promised to call it “Round-the-clock Martirosyan”.

Recall that on February 25, Channel One suddenly changed the broadcasting schedule, removing the Evening Urgant program from the air. The last episode aired on February 21st.
